St Mary’s is a Catholic Integrated School. It has a special character which requires that the Gospel of Christ to be both taught and lived. It is very important that this Catholic Character is maintained and we ask for parent support to ensure that this is supported. All children participate in the religious education programme and attend Masses and other liturgical celebrations that mark important occasions in the Church’s year. Daily prayer is a feature of each classroom programme.
Preferential Those parents, who seek preferential enrolment for their children, must apply to the Parish Priest for a card which states that at least one parent has “an established connection with the Parish Community”. An enrolment contract can be filled out which parents sign indicating that they consent to their child participating fully in the Religious Education Programme and to pay Attendance Dues to the Catholic Integrated Schools Office. The Preference cards and Enrolment forms are available at the school or upon request will be posted to you.
Non Preferential A limited number of students with non-preference status may be on the school roll. Parents are able to place their child’s name on the waiting list at any time. Students will be offered placement as vacancies occur and in accordance with the school policy.
