A little bit of rain did not dampen our evening, with 4007 people from all over the Bay of Plenty & beyond, turning out to enjoy our 2017 Fireworks Gala. We have had so many reports of families having a great night out, and our children experiencing a world class fireworks display in their own school grounds! Thank you to our wonderful sponsors Taylor Bros Transport, Vegepod, Willis Towers Watson & Zariba Properties – Terrace Views, without your support this event would not have been possible. Thank you to all our amazing parents, staff and families, who gave up their time to help set up and clean up, volunteered to manage and assist on stalls on the night, and donate fabulous prizes, our event was a huge success because of you all! We were thoroughly entertained by our talented performers & broke records with the huge number of Jar-a-ramas, and had a massively successful ‘Winning Wheel’. Another highlight was the ‘Wheelbarrow Race’, congratulations to ‘Accident & Healthcare’ our 2017 Champions. Together we raised almost $25,000, part of this will be spent on exciting outdoor play equipment and playground upgrades for all our children. What a great evening to showcase our beautiful school, its people and its sense of community. We are looking forward to 2018! Fireworks Committee 2017
